Husband of Ellen Horan. Thomas Horan and Ellen Horan had three children: James Horan (1879-1890), Theresa C. Horan Bethke (1874-1952), and Catherine J. Horan Johnson (1875-1960). All three were buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Thomas Horan, aged 73 years, died Friday morning at his home on First Avenue [Eau Claire, WI]. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George T. (Theresa) Bethke and Mrs. H. E. (Catherine) Johnson; two sisters, Mrs. John (Marie) McDonough and Mrs. Jane McDonough; two brothers, Timothy Horan of Stevens Point [WI] and Emmet Horan of this city. Mr. Horan had been a resident of Eau Claire for the past fifty-seven years.
