Services were held Monday a the Baxter Methodist church for Mrs. Martha Bradford Birdwell, 29, who died at her home here last Thursday night following a short illness, the Rev. J. A. Harris, the Rev. James A. Hooten and the Rev. Keathley officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellow's cemetery at Baxter.
She was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Birdwell of Baxter; her mother, Mrs. Eliza Bradford of near Baxter; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Lance of Utah, and Mrs. Nettie Hawkins of Boiling Springs, and five
brothers, William Bradford of Chattanooga, Alton Bradford of Livingston, Clifford, Doley and Delbert Bradford of near Baxter.
She was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
