Megan Ashley Perry

Megan Ashley Perry's life ended tragically on May 15, 2008, age 25, beloved daughter of Arthur A. Perry, III and Mary Ellen (Yannelli) Mason.

Megan lived every moment of her short 25 years with enthusiasm and passion. She traveled to Alaska and Italy, lived in New Zealand, ran in charity races, and volunteered for a wide variety of community organizations. She graduated from Corpus Christi School, St. Elizabeth's High School, and the University of Delaware. Megan was pursuing her Masters degree in Education to become a guidance counselor.

Megan is survived by her twin sister, Elizabeth Rose Perry of Millsboro, DE; her brother, Sean Arthur Perry of Cherry Hill, NJ; her sister, Amanda (Perry) Neill of Narberth, PA; her maternal grandmother, Mary Louise (Caputo) Yannelli; and her paternal grandparents, Arthur A. Perry, Jr. and Rosalie (Wilson) Perry. Megan is also survived by her stepfather, Edric R. Mason, Jr.; her stepsisters, Jennifer Mason, Stefanie Mason, and Brittany Mason; her brothers-in-law, David M. Neill and David R. Perrine; and her treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers.

A Mass celebrating her life will be Tuesday, May 20,2008 at 12 pm at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Hockessin, DE. Relatives and friends are invited to the church beginning at 10:30 am for silent prayer and meditation. Private interment at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Wilmington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent in Megan's name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway #250, Dallas, TX 75244; Megan completed the Race for the Cure in Philadelphia with her mother, her sister, Amanda, her Aunt Helene, her Nanny, and her friend, Devon last Sunday. Megan was dedicated to improving the lives of all those with whom she came in contact. Her loving soul, vibrant smile, and passionate zeal for life will be missed from now until eternity.
