Lorna Baker

Lorna Jean Baker, 80, of Cambridge, formerly of East Bethel passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Grandview Christian Home after a short struggle with cancer.
She was born March 27, 1928 in Stanchfield Township, Minnesota to Leonard and Myrtle (Larson) Bismarck. Lorna grew up in the Stanchfield area and attended the Elm Park Country School and went on to graduate from Braham High School. After high school she worked at the Cambridge Launderers and Cleaners for a few years.
On January 7, 1950 she was united in marriage to Everett Baker at the Stanchfield Baptist Church. The couple made their home in East Bethel where Lorna continued to live until April 2004 when she moved to River Hills in Cambridge. In November 2007 she moved to Ashland Place and the past few weeks Lorna resided at the Grandview Christian Home.
