Husband, father and grandfather, Charles David Stuart, 71, of Cedar Hill, TX died on December 10, 2019.

He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 8, 1948. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Barbara Stuart, and his brother, Michael Bruce Stuart. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Yvonne; his daughter, Karen and her husband, Adam Robinson; his son, Michael and his wife Rebecca and his three grandchildren, Jaxson, Camden and Megan.

Charlie joined his father in the sheet metal industry in 1968. After serving a four year apprenticeship, he worked as a master sheet metal journeyman for 50 years. He retired from MK Specialty in 2018, after more than 25 years of service. Charlie enjoyed fishing when he was younger and he and his friends participated in many tournaments all over East Texas, even winning a few. Charlie also loved to travel. Among his favorite destinations were Alaska, Hawaii and the WWII battlefields in Normandy, France. He was not a fan of the beach, but his family loved it, and because he loved his family, he traveled along, leaving behind a legacy of those precious memories. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, December 14 at Laurel Land in Dallas. Charlie is now free from pain and wrapped in God's loving arms.

A memorial service for Charles will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:00 PM followed by a reception from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Both will take place at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232.
