"Auto Accident Cause of Mrs. Green's Death ---
Mrs. Ellie May Green died at the home of her brother-in-law, J.H. Campbell, at 1254 East Magnolia Avenue, on Wednesday afternoon from the effects of an automobile accident on September 27 on the Birdville Road, according to the inquest held on Thursday by Justice Maben. Mr. Campbell's testimony shows that Mrs. Green was first taken to the City hospital after an automobile accident, where she was advised to submit to an operation. Her left side had been severely injured in the accident. She refused to undergo the operation and she requested her brother-in-law to come and take her home. She was put to bed at his home on September 28. She suffered a great deal that night, and the following day, she suffered from the injury on her left side. Late in the afternoon, she appeared to be sleeping, but when Mr. Campbell endeavored to waken her, he found that she was dead. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery."
