Funeral for Edith Irene Barnett, 74, of Trinity will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Hall and the Rev. Carold Hall officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barnett, who died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at her residence, was born May 7, 1931, in Lawrence County to John and Sillar Reed. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son, Allen Hawkins; and one sister, Opal Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Newt Barnett; one son, Perry Barnett and his wife, Lisa; three daughters, Lisa Hagood and her husband, Danny, of South Carolina, Teresa Morgan of Trinity and Pam Ritchie and her husband, Allan, of Trinity; two brothers, Ernest Reed and Edward Reed, both of Moulton; one sister, Virginia Schroter; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Barnett, Joey Ritchie, Allan Ritchie, Jonathan Hagood, Jason Hagood, Jody Reed, Brian Reeves, Josh Early and Tony Davis Jr.
