Denver Allen West, 73, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 5, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Feb. 8 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Dillard Cantrell and
Bro. Robert Lawrence officiating. Interment was in Rinnie Cemetery. Fully military honors were provided by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Mr. West was born April 9, 1932, in London, KY, the son of Allen Tate and Lydia (Heiss) West.

He was retired from the United States Air Force, a veteran of the Koran War and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille (Whitaker) West of Crossville; sons, Larry West of Crossville, Wade West of Crossville and Allen West of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Jeanine Potter of Crossville; brother, Bill West of Crossville; sisters, Marie Cook of Alabama, Emma Jane Norman of Clarkrange and Vivian Herron of Muncie, IN; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mossie Hines and Charlotte Fisher; and grandchildren, Jennifer Leigh Ann West, Lari Reed West and Matthew Potter.
Pallbearers were Randy, Cody and Chase Potter, Josh, Jesse and Ricky West.
