Gladys Marie Jenkins Brooksby, age 79, former Bountiful resident died Friday, June 21, 1991 in Ogden.
She was born July 22, 1911 in Antigo, Wisconsin, a daughter of David H. and Fanny Clarke Jenkins. She married Wilford Brooksby; he later died. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the LDS Hospital for many years. She was a member of the LDS Church, where she had been a Relief Society President. She also had been a member of the Fredonia, Arizona City Council.
Surviving is one daughter, Dr. Gale B. (Margaret) Armstrong, Eden, Utah; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, William H. Jenkins, West Salem, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden; where friends may call Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment in the Eden Cemetery.
