March 19th, 2024, Gary Grant Boe, 80, of Sussex, WI, passed away unexpectedly. The family is deeply saddened by his passing.

Gary was born on February 24th, 1944. He attended Menomonee Falls High School. After high school he went on to serve the country in the Army.

Gary retired from AO Smith Tower where he worked for over 30 years as a welder. He was an avid fisherman with many tall fishing tales. He also played on several cribbage leagues over the years. Additionally, he was a huge car enthusiast; spending his pastime restoring classic cars or helping friends and family repair their cars. Most nights of the week, you would find him watching WWE wrestling matches. He, Marjorie and their friend and family group enjoyed the adventures of traveling, especially via motorcycle around the United States and Canada.

Everyone who knew Gary knew how full of life he was! Always willing to help lend a hand and had an infectious laugh that could light up any room.

Gary's memory will live on through his wife of 55 years, Marjorie, his daughter Cherie (Alan) , his grandchildren Mellissa (Bob), Daniele (Alain) , and Robert (Kaitlin), great granddaughter Madelyn, his brother Bruce (Jayne), and life-long dear friends Kathy and Paul, Larry, Mike and Mary, and Lena. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Herbert Maker, mother Thelma Maker, son Andrew (Marjean) Boots, and brothers Paul Boe and Herbert L. Maker Jr. He is survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and an abundance of friends.

Gary's jovial presence will be missed more than words can say.

Services will be held on Monday March 25th, 2024 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, WI. Visitation will be held from 4 PM with service at 5 PM. A light meal and refreshments to follow.
