CHILD DIED IN KANSAS CITY
Ray Cooper, 12 year old son of Mr and Mrs L L Cooper died at the family home in Kansas City Saturday and the remains were brought to this city Sunday for burial. Rev J R Blythe of the Baptist Church preached the funeral sermon at the home of Mr and Mrs Aubrey Apperson and the interment was in Old Town Cemetery.
The boy was born in this city twelve years ago and was a bright and promising lad. The parents have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. (California Democratic - Thursday Nov 12, 1923 - page 1)
Ray Cooper died of Dropsy and dilated heart.
