Russell L. Burris, 79, Wenatchee, died Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Parkside Health Center. He was born on June 23, 1927, to the late John Arthur and Nelma (Kilgore) Burris at Kansas City, MO. Russell retired from Hanna Mining after many years of working at their plant.
He loved to fish and go camping with his famiy. Survivors include his sons, Dennis Burris of Wenatchee, Donald Burris of Nevada, Gary (Vicki) Burris of Alabama, Dean Burris of Seattle; daughters, Sharon (Wayne) Allie, Sandra (Ron) Andrews and Diane (Mike) Rovang, all of East Wenatchee; sisters, Doris Craig of Wenatchee and Betty Fetrow of California and Martha Burris; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in May of 2000; and a brother, Jerry. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Graveside at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee on Friday afternoon, November 17, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones and Jones Funeral Home.
