Harold Douglas "Doug" Poag, a selfless and compassionate man, left this world on October 19, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Columbia, Tennessee. He was born on June 14, 1933, to Alfred and Christine Poag and brought into this world a sense of dignity and ethical values that he carried with him throughout his life.
Doug is survived by his beloved of 56 years wife, Heidi Poag, and their three devoted sons, Bowie (Virginia "Ginger") Poag, Kelley (Lynn) Poag, and Mark (Carolyn) Poag. His four adoring grandchildren, Alexander, Keegan, Liam, and Tyler, brought endless joy and pride to his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Brenda Webb and Gary Poag.
