Louise F. Farnsworth, 80, of Polk died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born June 11, 1933, in West Salem, the daughter of Clark W. and Rose Helen (née Fye) Rook.

In 1951, she married Lloyd Farnsworth, who preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1984. She had been a homemaker, having made her home near Wellington and moving to Polk in 1989.

She enjoyed collecting antiques, going to garage sales and, most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her two sons, Denny (Christine) Farnsworth of Sullivan and Tim (Betty) Farnsworth of Polk; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Dan, Amber and Joey; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Ricky, in 1962; a sister, Delores Pay; and a brother, Gerald Rook.

A service will be conducted noon Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial at Huntington Cemetery following the service.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
