George Lee Doran, aged 86 well known retired farmer of near Myrtle, Mo., died at his home Monday . He was born in Randolph County , June 1, 1874, a son of the late Ruffus and Frances Young Doran and had made his home in Randolph county all of his life .
Funeral services will be held at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon and interment will be in the cemetery there , under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas .
He leaves four sons, Tommy of Granite City , Ill., Charlie of St. Louis , Mo., Ralph of Indio , Calif ., and Ted Doran of Merced, Calif.; a daughter , Mrs Ruby McArthur of Rt. 1, Myrtle; two brothers , Irvin and Jasper Doran , both of Rt. 1, Myrtle ; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren .
