My great grandfather on my mothers side. He is preceeded in death by his daughter paula. He is survived by his wife Rosa, he had 7 children Johnny, Manuel, Jose, Nando, Maria, Fella, and Paula, many grand children and great grand children. He was born in Puerto Rico, and was the first generation to emigrate to the US. bringing his whole family here for a better life. He was the patriarch of the Otero Family. I have had the pleasure of knowing my great grandfather. He was a real family man, He had a real sence of humor and he loved when we came to visit. He was real strong and lived a long life 98 yrs. I've realized that they lived so long because they ate home cooked meals they grew and rasied everything they ate. They never ate fast foods. He was very sharp had good memory. He died of natural causes.
