Leslie Richard Clawes was born Jul. 10, 1936 in Cook Co., Illinois. He was the husband of Janice H. Gill, and father of Richard Clawes. Leslie was the son of Russell and Mae Nelson Clawes. Brother of Charlotte Clawes Ritz. He was a Veteran of the US Army having served as a PFC. Leslie died Nov. 30, 1969 in Cook Co., Illinois at an early age of 33 when his life was cut short from an accident. He is buried next to wife Janice Clawes and other relatives in Memory Gardens, in Chicago, Cook Co. Illinois.
