Lou Ella Fox
Mrs. Lou Ella Fox, 79, died Friday, November 21 at Kilmichael Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Choctaw County, the daughter of the late William Dennis Upchurch and Willie Ann Dean.
Mrs. Fox was a retired school teacher and member of Woods Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Noah Fox, Stewart; three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Nail, Stewart, Mrs. Clemmie Ballard, Greenville, Mrs. Maurice Wilson, Eupora; and by two brothers, Vindex Upchurch, Jackson and Ed Upchurch, Isola.
Funeral services were held at Winona Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Prentis Gilder officiating. Burial was in Wood Springs Cemetery with Winona Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Roy Nail, Phelan Upchurch, Glen Upchurch, Dennis Wilson, Coy Nail and Sam Ballard.
