Record #26815497: I've suggested correcting his middle name; adding his date and place of birth; adding his date of death; and links to the records of his parents.
I believe that this grave stone is for Raymond Edward Smith and Della Viola Hoenshell.
According to his WWII draft registration card, Raymond Edward Smith was born on 13 Oct 1901 in Barry County, MO; and his wife was Della. The date seems consistent with the stone, although it isn't easy to read. I've requested a better photo.
His name is a bit of a problem because records are inconsistent. I have no idea where the middle name (nickname?) Jack came from. The initial on the stone is not clear, but it does not appear to be a "J."
Obviously, if you ((William Lyman Sr)) have evidence that his middle name or nickname was Jack, I'll defer to you. ((William Lyman Sr))
I believe that his parents were William Edward Smith and Ollie Parilee Clements. He is with his parents in the US census records for 1910 and 1920. He is identified in the 1910 record as William R.; and in the 1920 record as Raymond. No census records have been found for 1930 or 1940.
The stone places his death in Aug 1954, and I think the day is 25, so I'm suggesting 25 Aug 1954.
