He was born in Lake Charles, La., and was a civil service computer programmer.
He was retired from the Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelley Mackaig of El Cajon; mother, Amy Beck of Joplin, Mo.; brothers, Randy Broussard of Deer Park, Texas, Mike Beck of Kansas and Tim Beck of Allen, Texas; and one grandchild.
Services: 2 p.m. tomorrow, Alpine Christian Fellowship, 9590 Chocolate Summit Drive, El Cajon.
Interment: Houston National Cemetery, Houston.
Arrangements: Greenwood Mortuary.
