In 1880 Charles is living with his mother and father in Newark Ohio.
Charles was Married to Alice Stephenson November 8 1902
He then remarried Sadie E Kirk in 1906 she is the mother of Laura Alice Mary.
1910 Census has the family in Antrim Michigan with wife Sadie and daughter Laura.
In 1913-1914 Charles is in Edgar County Illinois during World War 1. Sadie died in August 1914 in Michigan.
1920 census records say that Laura lived in Edgar Co Ill at the age of 12.So we assume Charles was living with or near his brother John F. Brady in 1920 to help raise Laura.

In 1930,1935 and 1940 Charles & Minnie Smith Coffman are in Curry, Sullivan County Indiana.

The picture of Charles and Laura on this memorial was actually John and Hattie Brady's picture. The picture was found in John and Hattie's daughter Nellie's Photo album.Nellie's daughter Catherine Haase kept the picture album until her death in 1996.The photo and album then sat untouched for 16 more years. In 2013 Catherine Haase's Great Granddaughter Lindsay found the Picture in the album and started researching who Charles and Laura Coffman were. To Lindsay's surprise they were her Uncle Charles and Cousin Laura.
Charles has a strong resemblance to his older half brother John Brady and to John Brady's daughter Viola V. Brady Gumm.

John F. Brady named his only Son "Charles Brady" after his brother "CHARLES COFFMAN".

Charles Coffman was named after his (father's father)Grandfather.
