Herman Dirks Brown Jr.

Herman Brown Jr., 56, died Friday.
He was born in Sweet Home to Herman and Josephine Brown.
He loved to hunt and to go fishing with his sons and grandkids and to go with his wife on drives in the mountains. They were married 36 years.
Herman is survived by his soul mate, Donna Brown; son Eric and fiancée, Rhina, and son James and wife Nicki; two grandsons; father Herman Sr. of Sweet Home, brothers Ted Brown, Roy Brown and Bill Brown, all of Sweet Home, and sisters Rubye Stone of Eureka, Calif., Isla Wagner of Harrisburg and Frieda Gibson of Sweet Home.
His mother and sister Joan Hurley preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gilliland Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the VFW Hall in Sweet Home. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements (www.workmansteckly.com).
