Dwight W. Todd, 83, a longtime area oil field sales and service rep. was born Sept. 1, 1923 in Hamilton County, the son of Robert and Ruth Clarke Todd. He was raised on the family farm near McLeansboro and was educated at the Elm Grove Country School.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1943. Following his wife, Norma death in 1992 he moved to Williston, ND.
Dwight is survived by his sister Idalene Carter and her husband Bob from Fairfield Ill.; three children, son Bob of Minneapolis, Mn, daughter Nancy Ropp and her husband Rick of Apple Valley Mn. and Cindy Longtin and her husband Tom of Williston, ND; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; (Their names are all listed)
