THOMAS MITCHELL JONES, 51 died suddenly May 11, 2008, in Houston TX, where he had lived since age 12. A graduate of Sam Houston State University in Houston TX, he was curator of the Art Car Museum, Houston TX. He is survived by his college sweetheart and partner of 32 years, Rebecca Sargent; his parents Lawrence and Jean Jones of Rockport TX; sister, Lauren Scott and husband Jim of Alvin TX; sister Barbara Jones and Patrick Southard of Houston TX; brother David Jones of Houston TX and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by members of Ms. Sargent's family; her parents Pat and Diana Sargent; brother Matt Sargent and Lisa O'Connor; sister Cheryl Black and husband Chris. A private memorial service is planned for Thursday, May 15, 2008. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 3PM at the Art Car Museum, 140 Heights Boulevard, Houston TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Craft Emergency Fund, P O Box 838, Montpelier VT 05601.
