Grammy Award-winning Record Engineer. Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, California, he is best known for his collaboration with record producer Phil Spector on creating the "Wall of Sound" music style heard in such popular 1960s hits as "Be My Baby" by The Ronettes, "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" by The Righteous Brothers & "River Deep-Mountain High" by Ike and Tina Turner. He also worked on The Beach Boys' acclaimed album "Pet Sounds" (1966) and received a Grammy Award in 1966 with the Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass song, "A Taste of Honey."
