March 15, 2000 "Winfield Daily Courier"
Winfield, Kansas
Claud Edward Littrell, 92, of Cedar Vale died on March 13, 2000 at Cedar Vale Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale where he was a member. Burial will follow in Cedar Vale Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home. He was born on November 16, 1907 in Green Forest, Arkansas to George Washington and Nancy Delcine (Lawrence) Littrell. He married Isabella Wood on November 29, 1932 in Winfield. She died on December 18, 1990. He drove a propane delivery truck for Cedar Vale Co-op Exchange until he retired in 1972. He is survived by his sons, Claude Dean Littrell of Chautauqua and Raymond Lee Littrell of Cedar Vale; his daughters, Louise Kathrena Goode of Sedan and Marguerite Kingsbury of Great Bend; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
