Enoch Wiley Nash, 89 years, of Route 1 in Fordland died at noon Friday in his home after a lingering illness. He was a retired mail carrier and a farmer and a long-time deacon of the Fordland Baptist Church. Mr. Nash's survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, two daughters, Mrs. Julia I. Lea of Fordland and Mrs. Clarissa Toppass of Rich Hill; two sons, Oren Nash of Aurora and Aaron Nash of Fordland; a sister, Mrs. Emma Burks of Parsons Kansas; a half-sister, Mrs. Ida Burks of Fordland; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 pm Sunday in the Fordland Baptist Church by the Rev. H.N. Salsman. Burial was in Fordland Cemetery.
