Otis W. Vaughn, 78, of Springdale died Nov. 14, 1987, at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born April 30, 1909, in Hindsville, the son of Gilford F. and Olaye E. Morehouse Vaughn. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Transportation Department and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 320, the Woodmen of the World and the Odd Fellows. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his widow, Cecil Vaughn of the home; one son, Bill Vaughn of Mountainside, N.J.; three sisters, Gladys Isenhower of Healdsburg, Calif., Alice Drake of Fullerton, Calif., and Opal Atkinson of Hesperia, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Louis Dewett officiating. Burial was in Bluff Cemetery.
