HOLBROOK -- Jeremy Joel Simmons, 28, died Friday (May 9, 2008) at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
He was born Feb. 27, 1980, in Omaha to Diane Simmons. He grew up in Kansas and Nebraska and attended schools in Norton, Kan., Holbrook, Arapahoe and Sumner Eddyville Miller High School. He was an electrician's apprentice.
Survivors include his mother, Diane Simmons of Holbrook; three children, Matthew Buchanan of Aurora, Isaiah Kottich of Seward and McKenzie Pfieffer of Eustis; one sister, Amber Simmons of Edison; one nephew, Collin Lee Simmons; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, maternal great-grandparents and one cousin, Terry.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Elmwood Park Speedway in Norton. Interment will follow in the Norton Cemetery.
