Naomi L. Rapp, age 80, of Four Mile Road, Waverly, died Saturday May 10, 2008, at her residence. She was born on November 9, 1927, in Waverly to the late Hope Conway and Alverta Campbell Wardlaw.

Mrs. Rapp was a sales clerk and worked many years for the former Fisher's Meat Market, Rhoads Meat Market, and Vulgamore's Grocery, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She was united in marriage on April 20, 1946, to Chester L. Rapp, who preceded her in death on September 16, 1986. Surviving are a son, David (Claudia) Rapp of Waverly; 2 daughters: Rosemary (William) Pettit of Belleville, IN, and Barbara Schaffer of Reynoldsburg, OH; five grandchildren: Ryan Rapp and Cheryl Newman, Tonya (Jason) Van Knowe, Krista Schaffer and Mark Strawser, Alyshia (Joe) Crace, and Jeremy (Jennifer) Schaffer; seven great-grandchildren: Kaitlin Schaffer, Leanna Van Knowe, Taylor-Jo Crace, Ashley Schaffer, Aliah Crace, Gage Atencio, and Keelee Rapp. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Cory Schaffer, a son-in-law, Karl Schaffer, one brother, Frank Wardlaw, and 2 sisters: Bertha and Helen Wardlaw.

Services were entrusted to Botkin Funeral Home of Waverly, Ohio.
