OLIVETTE ALLENE PATTERSON SIMMONS of Palm City, FL died in the Fort Pierce, FL hospital. She and her husband operated the Sailfish Lodge in Palm City for over 20 years. Surviving are husband, Linwood Irwin Simmons; children, Lynn Patricia, Robert (in the U.S. Navy) and Susan Olivia who just graduated from high school. Olivette was active in political and club work - was President of the Stuart Woman's Club for 2 years, is now a director and was a former President of the Anna Miller Circle, s subsidiary of the Elks Club which supports a hospital for crippled children. She is buried in the City of Stuart Cemetery, Stuart, FL - (now is Fernhill Memorial Gardens). Published in the East Hampton Star, East Hampton, NY July 30, 1964.
