Interment followed in the Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Dean Stewart officiating the services. Pallbearers were Robert Steele, Tommy Green, Sammy Green, Johnny Askew, Charles Adams and Reggie Lee.
He was a livestock dealer for over 45 years. A member of the First Baptist Church of McLain where he served as a deacon for 35 years, he died November 22, 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mable Cochran of McLain; a son, Mike Cochran of McLain;; a daughter, Jackie Lee of Beaumont; two grandchildren, Maranda Jo Lee of Beaumont and Zackery Glen Cochran of McLain; and a special niece, Carmen Green of McLain.
