Visitation was held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall at 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed in Peacock Cemetery in Shivers, Mississippi. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall was in charge of arrangements, 601-847-4401.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Sue Sullivan Brown; father, Melvin Dempsey Brown; mother, Annie Jane Blackman [sic] Brown; brothers, Buck Brown, Johnny Brown and Wilson Brown; and sisters, Louise Brown and Kay Brown.
