Vesper Wimberley, 54, of San Angelo, died there on July 26. He was a brick mason and a former resident of the San Marcos area and Wimberley, and had been a resident of San Angelo for the past 13 years.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on July 29 with Mr. John Anders of the Holland Street Church of Christ officiating. Interment followed in the Wimberley Cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, John A. Wimberley of Kansas City, Missouri, Bill Wimberley of New Braunfels and Glen Wimberley of Houston; five sisters, Mrs. A. J. Kohut and Mrs. C. T. Henderson of San Marcos, Mrs. J. H. Cochran of Martindale, Mrs. C. M. Fulcher of San Angelo and Mrs. J. H. Robinson of Tallahassee, Florida; four brothers, Walter Wimberley of Mexia, Raymond Wimberley of Waco, Alvin Wimberley of Victoria and Lewis Wimberley of Austin; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were his nephews.
