ABE MCKAMEY DIES, HEAD OF FAMILY OF 142
Abe McKamey, 87, of Route 1 Caryville, head of a family of 142, died Monday at LaFollette Community Hospital.
He was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Rosher Burris of Oliver Springs, Alice and Fanny McKamey and Mrs. Pasie Bullock, all of Caryville, and Mrs. Cindy Greene of Elk Valley; three sons, Jesse, Lonza and Deles McKamey, all of Caryville; 46 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beech Fork Baptist Church by the Rev. J.T. Leach. Burial was in Beech Fork Cemetery.
Cross Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
