Frederick J. Camache, 57, well known Fourth ward businessman, died Sunday (June 24, 1962) at 7:50am in his home, 228 Denny street.

Services were held at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am, followed by Solemn Funeral Mass of Requiem at 10:00am at St. Mary's Cathedral.

Survivign are his widow, the former Ardis Avery of Norwood, a son, and two sisters, Mrs. Wilfred Montpelier of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Mrs. Donald LaPlanty, Ogdensburg.

Mr. Gamache was born Jan 22, 1905 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Capt Frederick A. and Mary McCartin Camache. He was a 1922 graduate of St. Mary's Academy and for many years was a partner in the Farden-Gamache-Murphy Company. Since 1935 he had owned a retail liqour store at 944 Ford Street.

Mr. Gamache's brother died on Feb 24 of this year.

Mr. Gamache was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish.
