Lawrence J. Gamache, 51, 1489 Shore Park Rd, Brooklyn, died at 10am Saturday Feb 24, 1962 in the Brooklyn Veteran's hospital where he had just been admitted following a heart attack. Death was attributed to a coronary thrombosis.

Surviving hare his wife, the former Kathryn Brownell of Lincoln, Vt; three children, two sisters, Mrs. Wilfred (Agatha) Montpelier, New Syrnama, Florida, and Mrs. Donald (Aileen) LaPlantney, of Ogdensburg, and a brother, Fred J. Gamache of Ogdensburg and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gamache was born Dec 18, 1910 in Ogdensburg, the son of the late Capt Fred J. and Mary McCartin Gamache. He graduated from St. Mary's Academy and in 1935 became a transfer agent at the Brooklyn State Hospital where he has since been employed with the exception of his service with the Army in the Second World War when he served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. Mr. Gamache was honorably discharged in 1945 with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Funeral arrangements which are charge of the McClellan Funeral Home are as yet, incomplete. The remains will be shipped to Ogdensburg and burial will bei n the family plot at Notre Dame Cemetery. Complete funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
