The Maury county native was the son of the late Will and Mary Lindsey Brown and husband of Dorothy (Dot) Brumit Brown for fifty one years. Mr. Brown was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and an avid fisherman, member of the Men's Bowling League and Maury County Coon Hunters Club. He was a retired supervisor for Occidental Chemical Company.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Lynn Bradley of Columbia, Joe (Vee) Brown of Vandalia, Ohio, Beverly Moore of Columbia, TN; eight grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Brady of Culleoka, TN, Keith (Jamie) Bradley of Columbia, TN, Kerry Bradley of Mountain City, Brittany Malugin of Rhode Island, Brandon Paul Gibson of Columbia, TN, Jarrett Brown, Haylee Moore and Lindsay Brown; four great-grandchildren, Mallory Brady, K.J. Bradley, Cayla Bennett and Madelyn (Mattie) Brady. Sisters, Rachel Scott, Mildred Davis, Ruth Finley of Nashville, TN and Alice Staggs of Columbia, TN; a brother, Lester Brown of Mt. Pleasant, TN; numerous nieces , nephews and a family dog "Patches".
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia "Patty" Brown Arnold.
