Son of William Adams and Susan Frances Hurst Adams
He was known as Elder Adams and was a prominent pastor of the Primitive Baptist Church, a life-long resident of Georgia and one of Walton county's most well known and highly respected citizens. He first married Miss Ella Tucker, who lived only a short time after their marriage. On January 13, 1870 he married Miss Nancy Euphratus Malcom. She was the daughter of George W Malcom and Sara Jane Preston Malcom.
