Funeral services for Harvey Brittain, 81, of Kirbyville were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Church near Kirbyville with the Rev. Bob Grady officiating. Burial was in the Brittain Cemetery under the direction of Whelchel.
Mr. Brittain died at his home after a long illness.
Survivors are his wife, Bertha, one son, William, of Branson; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Jennings, Kirbyville, Mrs. Mary Jennings, Branson, and Mrs. Dorothy Petterson, Kirbyville; four brothers, Hurley, of Powersite, Price, of Hollister, John, of Powersite, and Dewey of Kirbyville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
