Richard L. West, 21, of Route 1, Rockport, died Saturday afternoon after suffering injuries in a three-wheeler accident.
He was born in Wood County, a son of Jack L. West of Belpre and Janet West Bobier of St. Mary's. He attended the Slate United Methodist Church, a graduate of Parkersburg South High School Class of 1983 and was employed by the Century Block Co.,
He is survived by one sister, Donna Middleton of Pomono Park, Fla.; paternal grandfather, Lafe C. West of Rockport; maternal grandfather, Alvin C. Burkhart of Rockport.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark West and two grandmothers.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Kimes Funeral Home with the Rev. S.A. Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Limestone Methodist Church Cemetery.
