Susan Kaziah Davis was born Jan 28th 1850 at Bath, England. She came to this country in 1868, sailing from Liverpool June 20th on the Ship "Emerald Isle" in a company of 876 Saints under the direction of Hans Jensen. They landed in New York Aug 11th and reached Salt Lake City, Sept 25th. Susan met and married Frederick William Ellis Sept 6th 1869 and they settled in North Ogden where they raised 9 children, one son Lorenzo John Ellis died in infancy.
