Almease (SP) T. Abraham, Jackson resident for the past several years, died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital after an illness of about ten days. A native of Syria, Mrs. Abraham had lived in this country for a number of years and had become well known in Jackson. She was a member of the Catholic church. Survivors are one son: J. M. Abraham of Jackson; three daughters: Mrs. N. D. Thomas of Jackson, Mrs. Phillip Catan of Canton, and Mrs. Sam D. Thomas of Jackson; a sister: Mrs. L. T. Mitchell of Los Angeles, California; and one brother: Mr. S. N. Thomas of Jackson. The body will remain at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. D. Thomas of 1598 West Capitol Street until the funeral this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services will be conducted from Saint Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor P. O'Reiley officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Sam A. Mitchell, Phillip Thomas, Earnest F. Thomas, Edward S. Thomas, Mitchell Thomas, and Ed H. Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be T. B. Dickson, Dan Ferguson, Ellis Joseph, J. F. Bayley, Laz Kahn, E. H. Stratton, N. H. Thomas, N. D. Ellis, and S. F. Coury.
