She was born Aug. 14, 1913, at Victoria, the daughter of Joseph J. and Pauline Paul Dinkel.
A resident of Victoria, formerly of Salina, she was a nurse's aide at St. John's Hospital. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, both at Victoria.
Survivors include: a son, Don, Herington; three daughters, Rita Archer, Norton, Shirley Geist, Salina, and Geraldine Shomaker, Clarksville, Tenn.; three sisters, Sister Laurita Dinkel, Concordia, Evelyn Scheck, Russell, and Pauline Schmeidler, Hays; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Frank; and eight brothers, Bonaventure, Adolph, Edmund, Leo, Aegidius, Joseph, Balthasar, and Alvin Dinkel.
Vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, followed by a Daughters of Isabella rosary at 8 p.m., at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Memorials may be sent to St. Fidelis Church or Masses, in care of the funeral home.
