Funeral Services for James Rufus Bradley, Sr., 79, of Rt. 2, Richton, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday from Salem Methodist Church with Reverends Tom Johnson, William Mills, Sterlin Marsh and Ed Mozingo in charge. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery, Freeman Directing. Bradley a native of Wayne County, died April-29-1974 after a 4-day stay in Jones County Community Hospital. He was a retired farmer and member of Salem Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Phebia Bradley of Rt. 2, Richton; six sons, Abner Bradley of Rt. 2, Richton, Arthur Bradley of Rt. 1, Richton, W. G., H. L. and Charles Bradley, all of Pascagoula, and James Bradley of Clara; four daughters, Mrs. Elise Mills of Rt. 3 Waynesboro, Mrs. Hathleen Pitts of Rt. 2, Richton, Mrs. Onda Lee Ishee of Rt. 2, Richton, and Mrs. Bonnie Freeman of Jackson, Ala.; 38 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
