Calcote Aldridge Dies At Home in Gonzales
Calcote D. Aldridge, Sr., died at 5:40 a.m.yesterday at his home in Gonzales.
Funeral services will be held today at 9:30 a.m. at the Welsh funeral home in Gonzales. Burial will be the Baton Rouge National cemetery with the Rev. James Miller performing the religious rites and Nicholson post of the American Legion in charge of the military services.
A veteran of World War I, Aldridge had lived in Gonzales for the past 19 years. He was a native of Hamgburg, Miss.
He is survived by his wife, the former Isabel LeBlanc; three sons: Calcote, jr., Coy and Perry, all of Gonzales; two brothers: Joe of Tunica, Miss., and Burney of Rio; one sister: Mrs. Josie Griffon of Batchelor; and four grandchildren.
