Miss Freese, of 319 Washington Ave., taught in the Elyria school system from 1917 until her retirement in 1936, a spokesman said.
Born in Amherst, July 22, 1884, she lived in Elyria most of her life.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church, the Elyria Women's Club, and was the oldest member of the Mission Study Club.
She was also a member of the Inter Cultural Club of the YMCA and the Lorain County Branch of Retired Teachers.
Two sisters, the Misses Lilly C. and Elizabeth Freese proceeded her in death.
Friends may call at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m.
Services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Curtis will officiate and burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetary.
