Eleanor L. Kneller, age 90, of Sandwich, IL formerly of Oswego, IL died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Shabbona Health Center in Shabbona, IL.

Eleanor was born February 13, 1918 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Burton and Nellie (nee Tuttle) Andrews.

Eleanor was employed for many years in food service as a cook at The Clock Tower Restaurant in Plainfield, IL, Kresge's in Joliet, IL and Western-Electric in Montgomery, IL prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Federated Church of Sandwich, IL, also the prayer group of the church, Class of 1936 of East Aurora High School and the Kendall County Homemakers Extension Association.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Doug) Leigh of Plano, IL, son Frank (Karen) Kneller of Maple Park, IL, five grandchildren Gustin (Chris) Leigh of Sandwich, IL, Tracey (Ed) Dowllar of Rochester, IL, Amanda (Doug) Taxis of Sandwich, IL, Matthew (fiancee Sarah Swenson) Kneller of Maple Park, IL, Kurt Kneller of Bloomington, IL; eight great-grandchildren Samantha, Kenton and Amella Leigh, Casey and Paige Dowllar, Bailee, Braxtin and Douglas Taxis, II, two brothers Stanley (Patsy) Andrews of Boise, ID, Donald (Charlotte) Andrews of Montgomery, IL and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Howard G Kneller.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the McKEOWN-DUNN FUNERAL HOME, LTD. & CREMATION SERVICES at 210 S Madison St in Oswego, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home . Burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
