Arthur Leonard Brown, 72, Sun City, died July 21 at the Medicine Lodge Hospital. He was born September 21, 1905 in Aline, Oklahoma. He had lived in Sun City 50 years.

Survivors include: the wido, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Davis, Spearman, Texas; one brother, Francis O. Brown, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth E. Beatty, Kingsberg, California.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sun City Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Sun City Cemetery.

Arthur was born in the Oklahoma Territory in Aline in 1905 which was Woods County. In 1907 when Oklahoma became a state Aline changed to Alfalfa County.
He married Dorothy E. Shellenberger, July 12, 1928 in Fairview, Oklahoma. He passed away 9 days after being married 50 years from cancer.
