EDEN - Elaine Wilson Brannock, 76, of 14063 Hwy. 87, went to be with the Lord Tuesday night, August 14, 2007.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18, at First Church of the Living God on Thomas Street in Eden. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery .

Mrs. Brannock was born October 28, 1930, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, to the late Andrew Wayne and Belle Wilson. She was a retiree of Bassett Walker and was a cook for many years in various local restaurants.

Surviving are daughters, Cindy Brannock of the home, Barbara Burton and husband, Thomas of Reidsville; sons, David Brannock of Wilmington, Kenny Brannock and wife, Tammy of Eden, William Brannock, Jr. and wife, Joyce of Eden; brothers, Bob Wilson of Eden, Bud Wilson of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brannock.
